Healing Beyond the Self
Dear Essence Beings
Just returning from my first trip to Japan since the tsunami. Indeed I am in awe of how people are handling this catastrophe and without wasting energy on feeling like victims they are moving forward with rebuilding and assisting each other in whatever ways they can. Maybe 30% of our 100+ practitioners came out to a gathering to brainstorm ways in which we can play a part in helping people heal from the terrible shock of this experience.
For many in the immediate area which is still sealed off due to possible contamination from the nuclear reactors, the initial shock has turned into some kind of depression which is not surprising given the relationship between shock being injurious to the heart and depression being one of the probable results if that initial trauma is not digested. Then of course there is the huge loss of family and loved ones which is being endured by so many. I learned from the practitioners that people were highly responsive to the Balancer Spray in feeling like they were not so much in adrenal overdrive. I guess that the added ingredient of the lavender essential oil in combination with the Balancer essence is highly beneficial in situations like this of post traumatic stress. They spoke of symptoms like reliving the aftershocks and waking at night sweating and feeling like they were reliving the initial experience dissipating with use of the Balancer spray.
The other thing we discussed was the possibility of beginning the healing of the land itself with essences. I have been using essences in this way sporadically ever since I received case studies from a woman in Argentina in 2002 where she healed a piece of land and water by using the Abundance essence and other individual essences. So for the past few years when I go to Japan we have always created a special formula for the water around Hayama which we offer to the ocean before we make our sea essences. I had noticed a significant difference in the cleanness of the water the last time I was there and so this year faced the beach with some trepidation after all the environmental turmoil Japan has experienced in March. I was relieved to see that I don't think we have lost ground and that the waters continue to maintain clarity and support sea life around this town.
I believe we can do a lot more with essences directly in relation to the land and water. I was really impressed with the slides shown by Andreas Korte in Lisbon last year of his work using essences around the Chernobyl disaster area and the changes that have occurred over time. And of course one of the huge impacts of healing the earth is that all the animals that have been affected by these disasters also benefit. Also when humans gather together in some kind of sacred ceremony in respect for and gratitude to Mother Earth no doubt the benefits will return to us ten thousand fold.
Jamie has an amazing abundance story to share with you this month. No doubt her personal experience of being assisted is one of the possible outcomes we wish for everyone doing the Abundance Program.
And to celebrate the continued gift of these abundance products we are offering them as our specials this month.
With love and blessings

Jamie's Abundance Circle
Dear Abundant Friends--
I have a story to tell you . . . but I'm afraid you'll read it, and think that, while it's a great story and you're very happy for me, my story has nothing to do with you. That my experience is not one that you are ever likely to have.
But my story has EVERYTHING to do with you--everything to do with ALL OF US. Because real, concrete help and support is available to all of us. After I tell you my story, I'm going to tell you the two simple steps I've been practicing that helped make it possible. And then you'll see how my story could just as easily be YOURS. (Or maybe it already is!)
So . . .
It was Tuesday morning, August 23rd. I'd woken up worrying about money. I am a single, self-employed, home-owner with a chunky mortgage, a chunky car payment--and, as of August 23rd, no idea how that chunky mortgage was going to get paid in eight days!
After I rolled out of bed, I decided to go for a walk to clear my mind. But instead, even while walking, I kept mentally juggling numbers. Two miles later, all of my adding and subtracting showed me I was $650 short for my mortgage payment. That meant if every check I expected came in in the next week, after taxes, I would still need $650 to bridge the gap--which, at that moment, seemed an impossible sum.
"$650, that's what I need," I said to myself. But someone else must have been listening, because, as soon as I made that statement, I heard, "$650? That's what you need?" in a voice clearly distinct from the sound of my own internal mumblings.
A little startled, I responded, "Yes, $650 would get the mortgage paid. Thank you." (Because it never hurts to be polite.) With that, I finished my walk, ate breakfast, did my morning pages and other early-in-the-day work, and finally, about 2 p.m., I turned on my computer and checked my e-mail--where I found a note with this in the subject line: "Met you at UNF--Need help!"
"UNF" is the University of North Florida, to which I'd been invited at the VERY last minute to speak at the beginning of August. I didn't recognize the name in the e-mail address, but the writer reminded me she and I had sat at the same table at lunch one day. And that she had very much "liked my energy." And that she needed a writing coach, and hoped I would be willing to help her out. And how much did I charge for my services?
$650. That's how much I charge for my services. If someone wants to sign up for a 10-hour block of writing coaching, that's the price. $650.
By 2:30, Patty and I had spoken by phone. By 4:30, I'd received another e-mail from her with a tracking number for the $650 check she'd mailed. By Thursday at 3 p.m., I'd received her check, deposited it in my account, and mailed my check to the mortgage company.
Miracle? Absolutely! Grace? No doubt. Out of the blue? Not hardly!
Every morning for the last six months, I've been practicing asking for help. First thing, before my eyes are even completely open, I put my palms together, bow my head, and ask for specific, practical (or impractical!) help for the day. Anything I can think of--that a class goes well; that a highway trip is completed safely; that a bill is paid in time--I ask for help with. And then I go about my day trusting that help will be there when I need it and listening as closely as I can to my intuition.
This is the first of the two simple steps I mentioned. The second, is giving thanks.
Every night for the last six months, I've been practicing giving thanks for the help I've received during the day. Last thing, I put my palms together, bow my head, and think back to each instance in which I was aided, and I give thanks for it. Anything I can think of--that I noticed that cat had nudged the door open and was squeezing his way out; that the handyman was particularly helpful and did an extra bit of work for free; that the guy who could have hit me when I made that STUPID right turn, did not (!). Anywhere that I felt angels/guides/helpers/God/my own higher self were on the job, I note it and give thanks.
This practice is something I learned from Sonia Choquette. She's a psychic who has written many positive, helpful books that encourage her readers to develop their own intuitions and relationships with angels and guides. You might want to read any one of her books--or you might just want to incorporate this practice without reading any more about it.
But I will say this, since I started conscientiously asking for help every morning, and giving thanks for help every evening, I've not only NOTICED more miracles and synchronicities--I've experienced more of them. Maybe 650% more!
ABUNDANCE 101: Ask and you shall receive. Give thanks and you will notice just how much you are receiving!
