Hawaiian Rules and Nourishing our Hearts

Dear Essence Beings

Happy 2011 to all of you! It certainly feels like new energy to me – like I have an empty canvas on which to create my heart’s desires.

Starting the new year in one of my favourite places on the planet may have something to do with my perspective. Hawaii, the Big Island, where we make the Dolphin, Whale, Sea Turtle and Coral essences was as magical as ever and bathed us in it’s good vibes and Aloha! We are blessed!

I want to share with you “Hawaiian Rules” which I personally find both gentle and humourous. You know some cultures just are not as “revved up” and distracted, or focused (depending on your perspective) as we are in North America. And there are lots of happy smiling faces with clear attentive eyes greeting you wherever you go.

But even in Hawaii the minute that Christmas was over the stores began to stock product for Valentine’s Day. So we too are going to address the feast of love in our specials this month with a huge discount on all our Heart Spirit® products. For those of you who have never heard how Heart Spirit® was created go to our archived newsletters for January 2009 and read Finding Home in the Heart with Heart Spirit.

This month we also want to introduce our small sample sprays (10 ml bottles). They will make a great Valentine’s Day gift for someone special in your life and help them to work with the power of attractor patterns.

Jamie has once again come through with an abundance experience that I’m sure many of you will identify with.

Finally I want to remind everyone that this year’s Energy Medicine Practitioner training and retreat is scheduled April 15 – 22 at beautiful Soule Creek Lodge in Port Renfrew. We have had nothing but rave reviews from everyone who has attended one of these and even if you don’t want to be a practitioner the gift of 5 days with the Nature Spirits on the wild west coast of Vancouver Island is a healing journey in itself. Early registration is February 14th and if you want to receive a registration form and/or more information go to our training page or drop us an email training@pacificessences.com.

With love and blessings,

Hawaiian Rules

  • Never judge a day by the weather.
  • The best things in life aren’t things.
  • Tell the truth – there’s less to remember.
  • Speak softly and wear a loud shirt.
  • Goals are deceptive – the unaimed arrow never misses.
  • He who dies with the most toys – still dies.
  • There are 2 ways to be rich – work more or desire less.
  • Beauty is internal – looks mean nothing.
  • No rain – no rainbows.

Greetings, Abundant Friends,

Happy January!

Fresh energy, fresh year, fresh thinking! That's what January is producing down here in my Southeastern part of North America! But just a month ago, in the early part of December, I was NOT feeling all that fresh. In fact, I was feeling a little worn, as if the end of the year was draining the last dregs of my own precious essence down the drain with it.

This is not unusual for me. A Libra, I require a fair amount of "down time," time in which I just rest, read, relax--"filling the well" of my energy stores, with only two cats for company. Typically, however, December's demands seem to require that I give more of myself than I have to give--
and then I get sick and "have" to take the quiet time I needed in the first place!

Okay. So this is not, perhaps, the most spiritually advanced approach to self-care. But it's what happened (again!) this year. What was different, though, was how I responded.

Usually, I fight against the tide, trying to drag myself through my final obligations of the year--working at a quarter of my normal capacity and sucking on the energy of everyone I interact with.

This year, though, I accepted my need for rest whole-heartedly: grabbed a stack of fun-to-read novels from the library; put in a supply of good-for-me honeys and teas; piled the comforters and pillows high on the bed--and called Sabina!

Instinctively, I knew I had to nurture myself if I wanted to return to full capacity when the New Year rounded the corner. Intuitively, I felt that--in addition to tea and comforters--Pacific Essences ABUNDANCE STABILIZER was what my Inner Doctor was ordering.

Sabina got that little brown bottle of gold essence off in the mail to me fast, and I started taking it straight from stock concentrate, about two or three drops at a time, as often as it called to me--maybe six or seven times a day the first few days, and less often as the weeks went by.

Almost immediately, I felt it's nurturing effect. Abundance Stabilizer has a softer, more "feminine" energy than the Abundance Essence, with its more energizing, active, "masculine" quality.

As the days passed, I noticed that, rather than worrying about the money I was NOT making because I was lying in bed, I was seeing no decrease in my income. The Abundance Stabilizer was doing exactly what its name suggests: stabilizing my abundance!

Over the period of time that I took it easy--very, VERY easy--money continued to flow comfortably in and through my life. In fact, I ended my recuperation period with MORE money in the bank than when I'd taken to bed with my box of tissues and mugs of tea. And now I feel ready to help those that look to me for help, to be an energy source, not an energy drain.

So, what did I learn during my weeks in bed?

1) Rest when I need to rest--BEFORE I compromise my immune system and catch whatever bug is wandering in my vicinity.

2) Effective self-nurturing allows me to nurture others effectively.

3) Vibrational remedies--like Abundance Stabilizer and a host of other essences available through Pacific Essences and other companies--can be the final piece of the healing puzzle, helping me recover emotionally and spiritually as well as physically.

4) My abundance NEVER requires me to act in opposition to my own well-being. (And chances are good, neither does yours.)

Abundance 101: What happens when you take good care of yourself? Treat yourself with a little kindness and respect, and report back. (Resolution? Not necessarily. Just good, uncommon sense!)
