Aug 15, 2010 August News -
The first one that comes to mind at this time of year is Optimal Learning. Inspired by the single essence Blue Camas (camassia quamash) it has helped lots of students to learn more easily and efficiently and also to deal with challenges like dyslexia and ADD. Read about Optimal Learning below … Also based on the huge response to Jamie’s story about Abundance in last month’s newsletter she has offered to do a monthly column on Abundance and the first one is below. For me it feels really good to have someone else talk about this essence which has transformed so many lives and brought so much joy and well being to so many people around the world. Also I really like the idea that Jamie wants the column to be interactive so that those of you who have ideas to share or questions to table can participate in this new dialogue. We also want to welcome Lilika Reneé into our family of essence babies and children. Lilika was born on August 1st and when I held her for the first time today I remembered innocence, bliss and heaven and as I looked at all the expressions on her precious little face I so wondered where this little essence really came from! Congratulations Alan and Robyn. What a great production! And finally our special for the month will be 20% off the 9 synergistic formulas until September 14th. Don’t forget the upcoming international conference in Lisbon October 2 and 3, 2010. With love and blessings,
With our children back in school now is the perfect time to learn more about our Optimal Learning Formula. Each of our combinations have been named so that are user friendly and the name clearly describes the results which could occur from using this essence. Most of the Combinations began as an individual flower or sea essence and were combined with other individual essences to achieve even more powerful results. So let’s look at Optimal Learning. The key ingredient is Blue Camas - camassia quamash which graces our island in the early spring At the outset we learned that Blue Camas had the capacity to integrate the left and right hemispheres of the brain thereby having an impact on common learning difficulties like dyslexia. One day our distributor in the UK said – “you know with all the essences available on the planet today how is anyone ever going to find Blue Camas and get the help that it can provide for their kids who have learning problems.” Good question. So we created Optimal Learning and combined Blue Camas with Blue Lupin – lupinus rivularis for focus and clear thinking and Rainbow Kelp – iridaea cordata for integration of the front brain – reasoning and back brain – emotion. Thus a formula not only for dyslexia but also another common learning problem – ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) was born. Always the best information about any essence are the real experiences of people who use them. Below is a story of a mother in Israel reporting on the impact of Optimal Learning for her son. “This letter is much overdue. However as more time passes by I have greater reason to share with you the happy and encouraging developments I personally experienced. For my part I am always delighted when someone in Brazil or Germany or anywhere else in the world tells me about their appreciation for one of our flowers or sea creatures from Vancouver Island. My heart sings that I get to do this work. And when I listen carefully I can hear the flowers singing too. Greetings, Abundant Friends, I'd like to share some thoughts about abundance—an abundant state of mind as well as the Abundance products available from Pacific Essences—each month in the Pacific Essences Newsletter. Not just my thoughts, mind you, but your thoughts, too. You've read a little bit about my abundance journey in the July newsletter: I'm the woman Sabina referred to as “the Abundance Queen,” because of the sheer number of bottles of Abundance Essence I've purchased and consumed over the last seven years. Those Abundance drops, as well as a variety of books and teachers, have influenced and supported me as my truest life path became more and more evident and my own ability to walk that path became stronger and stronger. Now, a writing teacher and writing coach—with my own business and own home—I'm still learning how to consistently include the elements that make my life hum. For me to feel truly abundant, I needed not only financial well-being, but a clear sense of purpose and creativity, too. And guidance! I need a reliable connection to spirit. And beauty, nature, friends, good books . . . Of course! Abundance is not just a number in a bank account, it's a tapestry—colors and elements weaving together to create a life that's worth living. I feel abundant on the once-a-month Sundays when I play a loud and raucous game of Scrabble with long-time friends. I feel abundant on the evenings when my best friend and I walk the five-mile circuit around her neighborhood, sharing the news and dispelling the worries that have emerged since we last talked. I feel abundant when I wake after midnight and find that the big white cat has traveled to the top of the bed and wrapped himself around the small black cat—and together they're purring a sweet-dreams symphony in my ear. I feel abundant when, by happenstance, a topic I raise on my blog (http://thosedarnedrubyslippers.blogspot.com) garners a lively discussion between my readers. I feel abundant when an afternoon thunderstorm greens my back garden. When I spot a fledgling cardinal pecking at the seed in one of the feeders around the yard. When I read a can't-put-it-down mystery novel by an author who so generously has penned six more of the same. I feel abundant when the temperatures finally drop here in Florida, and I can pull out an extra comforter to snuggle under. And, of course, I feel abundant when my brown, padded envelope arrives from Pacific Essences protecting the little, brightly labeled bottles of Abundance within! Abundance 101: How about you? What makes you feel abundant? Drop me a line at <jamiemorriswrites@earthlink.net> and let me know. I'll share some of your responses with readers next month, attributing your quotes by first name, last initial, and location. 'Til next month, Enjoy, appreciate, and create!
